In this dreamlike enclave is located Bodegas Federico, in Pesquera de Duero, a town with a deep-rooted winemaking tradition.

Bodegas Federico is a family winery founded in 1986 by Federico Fernández and Celia Rodríguez. Today it is continued by their children, who have inherited the passion and love for these lands where they were born, grew up and matured, as well as their vineyards.

The winery has its own vineyards distributed in unique plots located at different altitudes and orientations. The vineyards of Bodegas Federico are excellent by nature, their soil varies depending on each plot, being lands of calcareous clayey origin, not very fertile, where the vines fight to survive.

Slopes, hills, stones, microorganisms, clays, nutrients, minerals… play a fundamental role in providing aroma and thickness to the grape, becoming the soul of the winery’s wines. The climate is harsh and extreme, combining long, cold winters, hot summers, and Very dry, with limited rainfall and large temperature changes between day and night.

Bodegas Federico faces each new harvest with passion, with the hope of transforming the grapes into an excellent wine, made with 100% Tempranillo grapes and matured in American oak barrels, practicing quality viticulture, producing wines that are the result of a mixture of the techniques and the wisdom of years of tradition.

These are wines from the Ribera del Duero: Roble, Crianza, Reserva and Gran Reserva under the name Tinto Federico, with numerous awards and recognitions, including: 4 Zarcillos de Oro, 2 Zarcillos de Plata and 1 large Zarcillo de Oro.
